Introducing the SILVER HOLO BORDER FOIL Super Mario World cards! Made by Banpresto in 1992 - This was a large collectible series featuring special shiny cards.

The special shiny cards were awarded at random by playing a Mario telephone card game kiosk in stores, this game was an interactive adventure game that asked you questions, had you solve puzzles, and do Mario/Luigi related stuffs, in return for passing obstacles/answering questions, etc. The machine spit out these random shiny cards for you to collect. If you notice, each card has an "IN" wording in the corner, symbolizing that you insert the card that way, into the kiosk - what this did to the game / reward redemption.. Rear of each card has little graphics / fun stuff, with small differences in the art from card to card.

The surface of each card is a smooth semi gloss - the card stock is thicker than your standard playing cards. A Full comp, each card is numbered on the rear top right from #1 - # 36. Images show in squads of 4, front and back, final images show cards lined up in numerical order, confirming all 36 are present and no duplicates. Smoke/Pet Free - I like questions and talking! Bubble envelopes and small boxes with ample protective packaging are used.
